Film examples

Harry Levinson directed two films for the BBC series People for tomorrow.

Each film used traditional film crews film editors production offices professional equipment etc. A short film clip from one of these films can be seen below. This can then be compared with a short film clip which was edited by Harry from camcorder material.

A certain inner bloody - mindedness

A young priest now the Bishop of Oxford searches for his religious path. The opening sequence involves sophisticated camerawork and direction.

Rabbiis for Human Rights

This is an organisation where religious leaders are concerned with Human Rights in the occupied territories in the Middle East. They were visiting Israel and the West Bank. Unusually there was with the group an Imam from the Regent’s Park Mosque. Here the Imam visits the famous Mosque in Jerusalem. Only a simple camcorder was used and the editing done by Harry Levinson on an Apple Mac using Final Cut Express.
